A message from the problematic…

October 13, 2007

There are times when we are faced with so many problems that we wish we were never born but we fail to realize that those problems are actually outcomes of what we have done in the past. Problems never arise because of nothing, there is always a cause for those problems and of course that course is us. Life will never be the same if we never encounter problemsor live a life full of happy times and endings.

Last night, I watched “Pursuit of Happiness” featuring Will Smith, a very nice movie wih a very inspiring story. It tells about Chris Gardner and his struggles to live a normal life with his son after his wife left them to work in New York. In the movie, Will Smith said, “Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t do something, not even me.”, he says this to his son after his son wanted to play basketball and to take it seriously. The moral of the story in my pont of view, is that we should all do our best even though problems come our way, just like Chris Gardner in the movie, who lost all of his money in the bank and did not have any place to stay in. In the end he became a stock broker and eventually became successful in life.

Well, my final message is that whenever one comes face to face with problems he/she should not look sad or down, but instead look happy and smile. Nothing in this world is perfect, no one is completely happy but everybody is looking for it. It’s funny how many people say that they are happy but the truth is that they don’t have it, they’re just looking for it… Looking for happiness is what makes us happy, the thought that we’re almost there is true happiness… no one can achieve it yet many experience it, one’s pursuit for happiness is already enough to give one happiness. But in this world it is still possible to achieve what we call “happiness” but it is just for a short time, happiness can never last for a life time, it will always expire and just vanish.

Happiness is the opposite of problems, solving our problems can give us momentary happiness. So without problems, there wouldn’t be happiness in our world. Yet we fail to realize that with happiness comes problems. If we fail to find happiness, we have a problem, if we try to search for happiness we will definetely encounter problems.

“To end this all, to solve your problems, just stay happy. Find someone who can make you smile eventhough you have a lot of problems. That person will be your greatest weapon against sadness and despair for when you think of him/her you will always smile and with that smile you will be ready to face your problems.”
